Late this past October, a friend I had finished a recent commission for notified me that his boss had seen some of my work. This "boss" wanted to commission me to do a few pieces for an upcoming company function. My friend happens to work for the BMW of Nashville, and the function was the unveiling of the 2016 7 Series. After three weeks of late nights, typically painting from 7 pm - 1 am after my 6 month old went to sleep, I finally finished my 3 piece showcase. BMW had commissioned me to paint three pieces--two window paintings, and one 5' x 3' oil on canvas--which were silent auctioned off the night of the red carpet event. At the end of it, my pieces raised nearly $1000 for the Nashville Rescue Mission. Grateful to be part of such a special night!
