When you see a piece of artwork, all you're looking at is the finished result--really only a still frame from the history of the piece. These paintings on wooden boards that I make are anything but "quick and easy", but the many steps involved make even the "canvases" artwork! Remember, if you're ever frustrated with the process: step back, remember that every hour gets you closer to the end, and throw in a toddler for some comic relief!
